These models were designed for sleeved cards and because of the added size, unfortunately only ⅔ of the eggs will fit in the box. Although I've found we don't actually use all of the eggs anyway, it is still a shame to not fit everything inside the box.
There are 5 card trays:
- 4 card trays are designed for use as the food/bird piles, and you can optionally stand up the bird card above the stack.
- 1 card tray is designed for use to contain the extra game and automaton cards
A separate model holds the goal cards and feather tokens, which must be angled due to a lack of space caused by the card sleeves.
As space is tight in this box, some cards will slightly overflow their card trays when packed away unless compacted but it does not affect the box' ability to close, and in practical play sense cards are dealt to players immediately which means the overflow issue does not have an affect on play or usability of the trays.
