Pre-notes ; Elgo is a surname because the well known brand's name triggers this website auto-moderators despite not sharing copies of their works or patent free stuff.

Do you love Monkey Palace but find its original box too big and inconvenient? No worries! I've created a solution for you: a box that's half the size and includes compartments to take your game anywhere with you.
Smaller and more practical: Say goodbye to the oversized, half-empty box! The new box is compact and easy to carry.
Everything has its place: Each piece has its own compartment, no more mixed-up cards or lost small parts.
Customize your game: Create your own game boards with the provided templates.
Easy to print: Even for the bicolor tray, you can do without AMS or MMU.

💾 **What you'll find in this mod** 💾
- A box that's half the size.

- Custom baseplates to replace the original ones, and a basic joiner Elgo piece.

🛠 **To mod your Monkey Palace** 🛠
1. Print 1 storage compartment for the pieces.
2. Print 1 storage compartment for the cards with the 2 retaining strips.
3. Print the box, its lid, and the clips. Don't forget to glue the clips into the lid after testing them.
4. Replace the original 32×32 Elgo baseplate. Either with 16×32 ones found online (Amazon, Aliexpress, etc.), or by printing the ones I provide.
You gonna need some Elgo pieces to join them together. Check in the abyss of your drawers, go to a Elgo store, or print the provided one.
5. Adapt or replace the playing field. You can photocopy and cut them, cut the originals in half, recreate them by drawing, or even create your own!
I provide a PDF including simplified basic repoduction of the fiels, the measurements to make your own from scratch, and a blank template.

*Can you scan and share the original game boards?*
No. This would be a direct violation of Elgo's intellectual property and the moral rights of the graphic designer who created them.
*Do you have a link for the baseplates you mentioned?*
No. I would have to anticipate where you live to do that. Simply search for "Elgo baseplate 16x32" on your favorite online retailer and you'll surely find something, otherwise Aliexpress will have what you need.
*Can you make another joiner piece for the baseplate?*
Yes if it's about a tolerance problem. Otherwise, search online. There is a lot of Elgo reproductions you can find for free.
