Frostpunk board game organiser

Hello, this is my design of Frostpunk board game insert, that fits into original game box. It adds dedicated space for board hex pieces and other small bits.

Size of this insert is slightly larger, than “buildings board”, that is used as a top cover in packed state, so components wont wander anywhere during transport.

You cannot fit all the trees that are included in box, but this insert is intended as organised “quick reach area”, so most of trees are stored in a ziplock bag inside original insert and you can refill this insert from time to time when you are low on them.

Edit 2023/03/28: Added Buildings tray and “Split” variants of files for users with “smaller” printers (minimum build volume 205x173x22mm is required).

Print only one variant of “Insert”. I have printed Insert_no_chamfer, buth both variants should fit enough of components.

Insert - standard variant WITH chamfer for most of fields. Offers easier removal of items thanks to this chamfer, but has slightly smaller storage volume.

Insert_no_chamfer - little bit more spacious variant of insert, but sometimes stubborn token can stuck in sharp corner and it is little bit harder to remove it from there.

Buildings - Additional tray to hold all building tokens nicely organised. Can fully replace “buildings board” and you dont need to sort all the tokens every time you are playing this game. Remember that with this tray, lid of game box with unmodified original insert will be lifted by 2mm. For me it is good and i will highly recommend to print this file.
