Quest for El Dorado is a great game but it looks flat on the table.

This model adds a bunch of mountains to cover the impassable spaces on the board. I used a noise map to generate the terrain so they are all different. This is enough for all of the scenarios that come with the game (picture is the Witch’s Caldron). If you want to make a bigger map or include expansions you can always print a few more.

The caves are represented by small skulls sticking out of the top of the mountains which is easy to see across the table. Instead of stacking cave tokens you can put them in a draw bag.
