Historical description :

*The KV-2 was a Soviet heavy tank used during World War II. It was part of the KV series of tanks, known for their thick armor and powerful armament. The "KV" stands for "Kliment Voroshilov," named after the Soviet Defense Commissar Kliment Voroshilov.*

*The KV-2 was characterized by its unique turret design, which housed a massive 152 mm howitzer, an artillery piece more commonly found on field artillery and assault guns rather than tanks. This made the KV-2 a formidable assault tank capable of delivering devastating firepower against fortified positions and enemy tanks.*

*While the KV-2 had impressive firepower and armor protection, it suffered from significant mobility issues due to its weight and a less powerful engine. Its slow speed and mechanical vulnerabilities made it less effective in a dynamic battlefield. Nonetheless, the KV-2 found a role as a breakthrough and assault tank, where its firepower could be put to good use in close combat situations. It remains an iconic representation of Soviet heavy tank design during World War II.*
