Tomb Raider The Crypt of Chronos Natla Counter

Designer's Description

I just got my kickstarter copy of Tomb Raider: The Crypt of Chronos and love the upgraded bits. Unfortunately, they did not include upgrades for the "Natla Pins". So I figured that instead of recreating the cardboard standees, I would instead create a counter to replace these. That way it is easier to pack and less clutter on the table. Feel free to provide any feedback as I am happy to adjust as needed.

I uploaded two versions of the Top model. One is a multi-part object, which I chose to print in black and white. The other is the top with the symbol cut out so you can print in a single color and then color in. In both cases, the object comes in as if it were on top so you will want to flip it by putting the top onto the print surface.

The bottom dial is just a single part, so to get the coloring, I modified the slider to change the filament used starting at layer 58 (4.76) and then back at layer 60 (4.92) according to the Bambu slicer. This provides the black background for the numbers to make them easier to read. If you do not want to print using two filaments, you can print and then paint or color in the depression

Assembly is a little tough because I made the fit fairly tight. I find the best thing to do is line up the hole over one of the numbers and start with that end and then press hard on the other side. This way the click guide is more likely to align with a pair of grooves.

I also ended up creating some small tokens to use on the map board to mark Tomb Raider (green) and Natla (black) locations. Just print 8 of the black and one of the other and you should be good to go.
