GAME RULES :
Here is the complete rulebook and overview for TINTAS in English:
TINTAS is an elegant, tactical two-player strategy game about collecting colored markers and capturing color dominance on a hexagonal board.
Objective
You can win the game in one of two ways:
- Instant Victory: Collect all 7 pieces of a single color .
- Majority Victory: If no further moves can be made, the player who holds the majority of pieces in the most colors wins (winning at least 4 of the 7 colors).
Components & Setup
- Board: Hexagonal board with 49 spaces.
- Color Pieces: 49 wooden pieces in 7 different colors (7 pieces per color).
- Pawn: 1 neutral marker figure.
Setup:
- Randomly place all 49 color pieces onto the 49 spaces of the board so that every space is occupied.
- Place the neutral pawn next to the board to start.
How to Play
1. The Very First Move
The starting player chooses any single color piece from the board, takes it into their collection, and places the neutral pawn onto the newly vacated space . Player 2 then takes their turn.
2. Regular Moves
From this point on, players take turns moving the neutral pawn :
- Straight-Line Movement: Move the pawn from its current position in a straight line (along one of the 6 hexagonal directions) across any number of empty spaces.
- Landing: The pawn must land on a space that still contains a color piece.
- Collecting: Take the color piece the pawn landed on and place it in your supply. The pawn remains on this now-empty space.
3. Chain Moves (The Color Rule)
The core tactical element of TINTAS is the chain reaction:
Crucial Rule: Once you collect a piece of a specific color during your turn, you must continue your turn as long as you can reach another piece of that exact same color in a straight line from your new position.
- Example: If you land on a red piece, you take it. If you can move in a straight line from that new space to reach another red piece, you must move the pawn there and claim that one too.
- Your turn only ends when no further pieces of that color can be reached in a straight line from the pawn's current position.
Game End & Scoring
The game ends immediately under two conditions:
- Instant Victory: A player collects all 7 pieces of any single color.
- Blockade / No Legal Moves: If the active player cannot move the pawn to any occupied space, the game ends immediately.
Scoring after a Blockade: Compare each of the 7 colors individually:
- Whoever has more pieces of a color than their opponent wins that color. (In case of a tie in a color, neither player gets the point for it).
- The player who wins the majority of the colors (e.g., 4 out of 7) wins the game.
SPIELREGELN :
Material & Aufbau
- Spielfeld: Hexagonales Brett mit 49 Feldern.
- Farbsteine: 49 Holzsteine in 7 verschiedenen Farben (jeweils 7 Steine pro Farbe: z. B. Rot, Gelb, Orange, Grün, Blau, Violett, Weiß/Rosa).
- Sammelfigur: 1 neutrale Spielfigur (Pöppel).
Aufbau:
Spielende & Wertung
