Mexican Train Dominos - Center Domino Holder
This is my first 3D model and it took my longer than I would care to admit. But I wanted a Mexican Train center piece that had a spot for the actual trains when not in use during that round. Also I never need 8 spots, so I made this one with only 6 main slots with corresponding Train spots and then 2 open spots just in case!
The entire piece is 188mm x 188mm x 6mm. The Dominos are recessed into the board by 4mm and they are off the table by 2mm.
My Printer: FlashForge Adventure 5M Pro (0.4 Nozzle)
My Filament: FlashForge HS PLA (White)
If you are using the same printer and Orca-FlashForge this was printed with the default "0.20mm Standard @Flashforge AD5M Pro 0.4 Nozzle" system preset.
I only changed the Top Surface Pattern to "Hilbert Curve" because I think it looks prettier!
Print Bed Temp: 50C
Nozzle Temp: 220C
With those setting:
It requires 71.25grams of filament.
It took 1hr and 59 minutes to print.
(I am new so go easy on me, I created this Model in Blender and when exporting it as a .stl and then importing it into Orca-Flashforge it gave errors and needed to ‘repair’ which it did perfectly but I did include the .stl & the .3mf files)
Version 2 is also ready if you want taller walls for the Train.. ‘Stations’. :)
The entire model for Version 2 is: 184mm x 184mm x 13.3mm
Total Filament used = 86.93 grams
Total Print Time = 4 hours and 6 minutes
