Twixt game

Designer's Description

This is a classic abstract board game. The rules can be found on Board Game Geek. In short: yellow is trying to connect east-west and red north-south. Each turn:
1) Remove as many of your own pieces as you like (occasionally necessary to rearrange tight configurations).
2) Place one peg, except in opponent's home (outer edge) row
3) Place as many bridges as you want on your pegs, such that none cross any other bridge, including your own. Bridges are always a knight's move away.

Pie rule: Second player has an option to switch sides (in order to discourage a first-player advantage).

This was originally designed for a Bambu P1S printer and uses color to distinguish players as shown in the photo. The playing pieces in this design have to be printed twice, once in each color. The four board parts are complete. The NE and SW boards are identical, as are the NW and SE boards, but they not all 4 identical. There is a small square ring to loosely hold the board parts together when in play.

twixt_bigbox.stl and twixt_spine.stl (.3mf for two-color version) are a box to hold the pieces.
