Designer's Description
Eldritch Horror + Forsaken Lore Insert

A complete storage solution for Eldritch Horror and the Forsaken Lore expansion.

This insert is designed to keep the entire game organized inside the original box, while still allowing you to use sleeved cards and token capsules .

📦 Storage

The insert fits:

  • The complete Eldritch Horror base game
  • The complete Forsaken Lore expansion
  • The game board
  • All game cards in sleeves
  • All tokens and components
  • The base game rulebook
  • The Forsaken Lore rulebook

The original box closes completely with the insert installed — no lid lift and no need to remove components before storing the game.

The game board is also stored inside the original box , so the complete game can be kept together in one place.

🃏 Sleeved Cards

The card compartments are sized to accommodate the complete card collection in sleeves.

Tested with:

  • Dragon Shield American Mini
  • Dragon Shield American Standard
  • Paladin Ragnelle

Both the base game and Forsaken Lore cards fit inside the insert while sleeved.

🪙 Token Storage

The insert is also designed to work with token capsules .

Almost all tokens can be stored in capsules and still fit inside the insert.

The only exception is the Clue tokens . Due to their size and quantity, some of them will need to be stored together with the dice when using capsules.

Without capsules, all tokens fit comfortably in their dedicated compartments .

🃏 Status Card Organization

The Status tray is intentionally designed to combine some Status cards into shared slots.

This is because Eldritch Horror sometimes requires you to draw a random Madness or Injury . Keeping these cards together in a single stack makes this process easier — you can simply draw a card when needed instead of shuffling a separate deck, drawing a card, and then splitting the deck again.

The recommended arrangement, starting from the slot closest to the player and moving towards the back , is:

First column:

  • Dark Pact
  • Poisoned
  • Cursed
  • Lost in Time and Space
  • All Madness cards

Second column:

  • Debt
  • Detained
  • Blessed
  • All Injury cards

This arrangement keeps the individual Status cards organized while grouping the Madness and Injury cards in a convenient way for random draws.

🎲 Designed for Easy Setup

The insert keeps the components separated and organized, making setup and cleanup much faster.

Cards, tokens and other components have dedicated storage areas, so you can quickly find what you need during the game instead of digging through bags and piles of components.
