Targi (Tuareg) board game map border cards frame
Print Profile 7h 47m 202 g PLA
Plate Details (7)
This is a frame I made for holding the border cards and other cards that make up the map in Targi, the boardgame about the tuareg people set in a desert.
- 👉 If you are looking for the board game insert for Targi, check here!
- 👉 Extra optional pieces for the official 3-4 players variant (you can print additional meeples for that!)
- 👉 Can be packed in the game expansion box with plenty of room to spare
- 👉 Easy to assemble with numbered parts matching the border card numbers
It's a quality of life addition for your Targi game, that can fit the expansion box (or probably the base game box too if you keep everything in baggies, instead of printing my insert). The frame disassembles easily and you can assembled it back in a few seconds. Once assembled, it will be sturdy and the map won't be scrambled if you accidentally move any card on it. Removal of cards in the central area is very easy too, by applying just a gentle pressure in one of the card corners and the card will lift up. Check the video!
Each border space has a numbered reference to the corresponding card you'd place there so it's easy to fit the pieces together. (Note: there's a numbering error in my printed copy shown in the photos but I have corrected that in the model you'll actually print).
🏗️ Printing instructions
Just print as is, it's a very easy model. Be mindful of letting the bed cool down completely so you avoid bending or curling the frame while it's still warm.
If you don't intend to play the game with 3-4 people, you don't need to print the plates containing the extra frame pieces for this variant . If you do, you might consider to print the extra player pieces as well – they will fit the organizer .
I use the expansion box to pack the frame disassembled. I have put everything else in the base game box using my own Targi insert .
