Designer's Description
An insert for the new board game Shugendo by Devir. It's a straightforward insert (1st try on this game) where I tried to optimize use of space and save set-up time. Therefore I made the following choices:
- One storage unit for all the cards (sleeved with 60 micron Sleeveking Sleeves - a bit to snug maybe, you can add 2-3mm in height)
- One storage unit for all player parts (including farmsteads, villages and cities per player)
- One storage unit for scoring tokens, silver coins and land tiles
- One spacer object to fill-up excess space
On the bottom layer you place the card-storage, scoring tokens and the spacer. Next layer are the player parts and the player boards. The farmsteads, villages and cities are very snug as well. You could add a 2mm or so to give it a little bit of room. On top of this layer goes the general board and one manual. I think a second manual will fitt, but the rest not.
For me this insert is good enough, so I'll not try to optimize it further.
