Awaken Realms Grimcoven Insert
Inserts for the main, acrylic, Awaken Guard boxes of Awaken Realms' Grimcoven.

Tokens: I created quad trays to hold tokens from the core box and stored them in the acrylic tokens box where they fit into the existing rectangular inserts. There's even two unused wells that can be used for the companions miniatures (or put them in the minions miniature tray where the hero colored bases are) and whatever else I missed, such as the acrylic standee bases. Just print extra top and/or bottom trays. The "Tokens Tray" have one interior side curved to help slide tokens out. The "Standees" tray doesn't have any interior sides curved. The trays are also usable on the game table as token trays.
Hexes: I created a tray that holds all of the hexagonal location tiles from the main box. Using the shape of the largest hexagonal location tile, I noticed that it can fit under the minions tray where the included tokens insert sits. It's a bit of a puzzle but all of the hexes fit except for those in the expansion, but they have their own insert. I removed the included tokens insert from the box.
Card Tray: BGG user AMajesticPotatoe discovered that the additional Awaken Guard box can hold all of the sleeved cards if you remove the original insert. That user cut and placed cardboard between the two columns of cards. I created a holder with slots for dividers. The dividers aren't necessary, but they help keep the cards from sliding forward or backward after you pull some cards out. You'll notice I didn't include cards for the two expansion bosses but did include cards for the two expansion characters. All of the cards fit but would be a little tight. I left the expansion boss cards in their expansion box since their minis, hexes, and other components are in that box.
Update: Nov 26, 2025
Added 2 new trays and updated 1 tray to v2. The 2 new trays (Terrain Minis 1 and 2) will hold most of the terrain minis. I put the mountain-looking obstacles inside the main box's card well. I updated Elite Level Tokens Tray to version 2 to hold the 4 treasure chest minis and moved the dice originally in there (Technomancer dice and a couple basic ones) to Terrain Minis 1 tray, which can hold 6 dice (relieves some of the space in the dice box).
I tucked the Clockwork Giant mini (red arm) and the Forge Terrain mini with the dragon in the main box. I normally don't like doing that but they fit pretty snug.
I put the companion tray (out of the cardboard box) in the top-level tray. I'm printing a small minis tray that will balance the other corner of that tray so Boss scenario cards lay on top.
WIP:
Creating a small minis tray to hold the expansion characters Clockwork Giant and Twins.
Updating the Card Tray to an Alt so it can hold the Elite and Player Aid cards. I also plan to lay Deputy cards/boards on top of the cards in the card tray.
Technically, you can fit the Striga Boss mini into the main box's card well and then move everything else in that box out except for the Chimera mini. I haven't found a solution for it yet.
