Designer's Description

Compact player boards for The Isofarian Guards.

Love to play this game, but the original player boards take a bit too much space for my table. Wanted something a bit more compact while preserving most of the functionality.

It prints in 2 parts (the larger ability cards tray uses the full P1S width) that can be arranged on the table the way you like.

The combined footprint is 55% smaller that the original

(Guard dashboard 63% smaller. Guard ability dashboard 48% smaller)

Features:

  • Can fit the 4 active gear cards flat (with a ramp under the cards to make them easier to pick up)
  • The satchel slots are upright, divided between 2 columns (one column can be used from the start, the second one represents the Expanded Satchel)
  • Spaces for the original health/attack/defense tracks and action point area
  • Uses the guard chips instead of bust cards to save more space
  • The ability cards sits at an angle, with a finger scoop under them, making them much easier to flip over
  • The speaking stones ready/exhausted slots fits on top of the cards with a small print to keep them in place
  • Slots for chip status area are and chip discards area
  • Icons and numbers are debossed for easy painting, and should be visible even if printed in a single color (although less than multi color)
  • Fits sleeved ability cards (don't have sleeves for the equipment cards, but the slots are about the same size as the original ones)

Not sure how they fit back into the box (as the game has been living on my table for over a month), but they might have to be stored outside the box.

It should be a fairly easy print, and the icons and numbers comes quite good on a 0.4mm nozzle, just make sure to maximize bed adhesion (make sure build plate is clean, use SuperTack plate, or glue, etc) as these are quite large flat objects, that can be prone to warping under non-ideal conditions.
