A friend drew this for me in CAD, I just started learning.
It's purpose is to help indicate which direction a monster is looking (and where its back is).
As a first project for myself I'm planning to place a hole in the middle of the circle recess to reduce filament usage as well as lifting the hexes up to level with the monster base.
I added a photo of the decorated base.
