Small-Time Heroes Custom BOX
EDIT 29 August: I've added files for a health card tracker guide, so the cubes don't get knocked around too easily. If you print the front and back you can (carefully) glue or tape them together, or just use the front over the health card! A similar overlay for the character card is also available.

EDIT 27 August: I've uploaded a picture of the game loaded into the box, now I have it! I also added an optional box variant with a cutout behind the rules to make it a bit easier to grab them. Pick the DisplayCase, or the DisplayCase-RearCutout, whichever you think you'd prefer!

The next instalment for the Solo Game of the Month campaign is Small-Time Heroes and it is almost ready to ship (game design by Drew Corkill, art by Matias Aimone, and Gamefound campaign by Gabe Barrett). This release is not an insert. It will most definitely not fit in a VHS case! It is an entire box!
I've levelled up on this design, with the additipn of bat-wing hinges! Consequentially, there is assembly required, and you will need 2 x M3 bolts (washers are optional but might provide slightly more tolerance if you feel you need it). The bolts slide into the lid holes (slide them back and forth a few times to ensure the hole is clear) and then just screw them down into the base holes. I used 32mm M3 bolts, you can probably get away with shorter, say 25mm, but I haven't tested it. Longer bolts will probably hit the bottom of the hole and won't work.
And there are drawers for tokens and cubes, with a little indentation underneath to help with grip to slide them out! You need to print 2.
Little holes on the lid are for a clip so the wings don't swing open randomly. The hole has a slight downward curve to it so a paperclip is ideal.
Sleeved cards will absolutely FIT in this box. Without the usual constraints I have designed this to fit sleeved cards. I've sized it for sleeves of 60 micron, but thicker may fit (I have no 100 micron sleeves to check, but let me know if you try).
If I had enough black PLA left I'd have reversed the lid colours (I'm telling people the shadow band behind the words is a design feature, but I just didn't flush enough on the colour change)! If you don't have a mulit-colour printer then I'd paint the lettering so it stands out.
