Insert for Emberheart plus Player Board Overlays
Insert for Emberheart and Player Board Overlays
No lid lift
Supports sleeves (I use sleeve kings brand standard thickness sleeves)
Supports vertical or horizontal storage (nothing should move around, even if you shake the box)
Supports the upgraded Aide Tokens. (they are shaped like shields)
Includes player board overlays which are amazing at making sure your attribute markers don't get bumped out of place.
Longest model (split for 'normal' printers) : 169mm x 77mm
Longest model (for large printers) : 284mm x 137mm
Total grams at default .2 bambu lab slicer settings (except 8% gyroid infill) : 560
Print settings : normal for your filament, no supports needed (except where noted) and I recommend 8% infill minimum
If you have a large bed printer, you should print the following parts:
qty Name
4 LG-Player Board Overlay
1 LG-Player Tray Holder
If your printer does not fit the large parts (mine does not), you should print :
x2 Player Tray Holder
Also, if your printer does not fit the largest parts, choose either :
x4 Player Board Overlay A
x4 Player Board Overlay B
or:
x4 Player Board Overlay C Supports Required
x4 Player Board Overlay D
The different is the way the parts are joined. The first set (without supports required) join with a puzzle piece style cutout, the second set (requiring supports) uses the same style connector but only for a few layers, hiding the puzzle join from sight. If you choose the support required pieces, you may have to shave some of the left over support material to get the proper fit (or play with your support settings for easier removal).
If you have the 4mm double thick wood upgraded shield (Aide Token) pieces, please print:
Wood Shields
Otherwise, if you have the standard 2mm thick cardboard shield (Aide Token) pieces, please print:
Cardboard Shields
You can also just print the Wood Shields piece and double up two of the available spaces with all four Aide Tokens in case you get them in the future.
Regardless of what version and how big your printer is, everyone should print the following :
Dragon Cards
First Player Token
Hero and Two Player Cards
Tavern Cards
x2 Gear Tokens
x2 Mountain Preserve Cards
x2 Raid Dragon Cards
x2 Worker Tray
If you want to add a little extra (and have the filament colors or want to purchase them), you can print the player trays and board overlays in the player colors as I have done (see pics). This isn't required of course. Message me if you want the brand/color names that I used (the blue green color was a little hard to track down).
My priorities when designing inserts:
Reduce game setup and tear-down time
Support sleeved cards
No (or very little where impossible) lid lift
Create models that do not need any support
Create models that optimize filament use (when possible)
Make trays that can be used during game play
