Bristol 1350 Apple Cart Insert

Here's an insert for the apple carts in the board game Bristol 1350. The inserts allow your player pawns to stand upright in the carts and make the game far less 'fiddly'.

I've found the insert just drops into the plastic (non-deluxe) carts and will hold in there all by themselves as a 'press fit'. If they're loose for you, I'd suggest using a small piece of double sided tape or some bluetack putty to hold it in place.
