Elder Sign Board Game (All Exp) Custom Box Insert

I needed a way to consolidate Elder Sign and all expansions into a smaller footprint. I bought a wooden box from eBay years ago and created a foamboard insert, which fell apart.

So now I've created a custom 3d insert for Elder Sign which fits the same box. The box size was set by the size of the manual.

So the box internal width/length was 242mm x 242mm external 250mm x 250mm

External height is 110mm so internal is approx 105mm (based on my box being 5mm thick plywood)

The design holds Unseen Forces, Gates of Arkham, Omens of Ice, Omens of the Deep & Omens of the Pharoah

The holders use 5x2mm round magnets in the boxes and most of the lids use 5x1mm round magnets (except the monster box which uses 5x2mm)

Key features:

• Monster box has individual smaller boxes to hold each monster/mask/other separately by expansion. I printed these in different colours and each features the relevant expansion symbol for easy reference
• Monster box using 5x2mm on both box and lid, is very strong and can be held up by lid alone.
• The tarot card holder box lid, has a lid which replaces the black clock hand connector so the lid can be used for holding the clock vertically (almost 85degrees) in a slide in stand which fits in the box
• Separate angled/finger joints for both the large and small cards can be printed out. I did them a different colour to make them stand out when lids are off.
• Token holders designed to hold investigators; staimina and sanity; dice, clues, doom and gates and then separate holder for omens of the deep, ice and pharaoh tokens
• Additional space in box for and open container. Could use as a monster cup in game, or to store additional pieces (e.g. 3d investigator holders, monster bag etc)

The monster box and tokens are loaded in a separate .3mf file
