Designer's Description
Modular Magnet Organizer v2

A modular system for organized storage of magnets.
For storing magnets with a 1–30 mm diameter.

  • Modules from 3 mm to 30 mm
  • Tubes from 1 mm to 3 mm
  • Two heights, 50mm and 100mm
  • Dual slots until 13 mm

Printable tags for diameter and height are included; they also improve the grip between modules.

Fully reworked version of the original “ Modular Magnet Organizer ” (see changes).
V2 modules are 5 mm wider than v1 and remain fully compatible.

Tags are available in two versions: standard and stronger hold.
For heavier or stronger magnets, the stronger version is recommended.

Also available as versions without side tag.

The tubes fit into the 10 mm module.

Changes to v1
  • Modules for all sizes from 3 mm to 30 mm (in 1 mm steps)
  • Tubes for 1–3 mm (and others)
  • Wider modules (new: 25 mm, old: 20 mm)
  • Version with taller modules (100 mm)
  • Labeling system with two side tag slots (diameter and height) and top tag slot (diameter).
  • Color-printed tags (only one filament change)
  • Improved tolerances; tags used for module grip
  • Fewer sharp corners
  • Strengthened base; extra-strong versions from 25 mm and above
  • Adapter for v1 (aesthetic, for a nice transition)
  • Compatible containers for tags or other items (separate modell)
Notes and tips

Print what you need. You can select or deselect plates and individual parts in Bambu Studio or the App.
For smoother surfaces, use a Smooth PEI Plate (tag or end plates).
Color-printed tags require only one filament change. Without AMS, add a pause at layer 2.
No Support . PLA is sufficient.

For strong magnets, consider using separate organizers and handle with care.

A1 mini ready. All plate layouts should also fit A1 mini build plates.

As usual, clean your build plate before printing (for example with warm water and dish soap).
In colder environments consider to increase the plate temperature for better adhesion.

I do not own all magnet sizes, so I was not able to test every size.
