Designer's Description
Hexagonal Magnetic Board Game Trays

I designed these hexagonal trays to solve the mess on my gaming table. It’s a simple, modular DIY system to keep tokens and resources organized while playing. I wanted something sturdy that I could also easily pack up and carry to my next game night without everything spilling over.

🌟Features:
  • Dimensions & Weight: Each tray is approx. 12cmx10cm and weighs about 55g .
  • Modular Magnets: Each side has a slot for a 6mmx3mm magnet. Note : If you use a different magnet size, feel free to ask, and I can adjust the hole dimensions for you.
  • Stacking System: Small pins on the top corners lock into the recesses under each tray, making the trays stackable and stable.
  • Removable Dividers: You can swap between 2-way or 3-way dividers (or none) depending on your needs.
  • The Tower: Includes a printable frame, lid, and handle to secure 7 trays for transport.
⚙️Printing & Assembly Tips:
  • Magnet Polarity: This is the most important part! You need to alternate North and South poles so the trays can connect in any configuration (see the image at the end of the description).
  • Ironing: I enabled ironing on the top surfaces for a smooth look. Disable it if you want to save printing time (or simply download the “No ironing” print profile).

I hope you find these trays useful for your setup. Enjoy your next board game session!
