*Description:*
This is a game organizer for the original edition of board game Pandemic by ZMan Games.
*Compatibility:*
Pandemic New Edition (2008)
These designs will not work with the newer (2013) edition. The older edition box is actually about 2mm bigger internally, so I had to add a little bit to the design so the trays wouldn't shift around.
*Background:*
Pandemic was one of the first cooperative games I played. It is considered one of the more influencial games in the early emergence of the cooperative genre as it actually became popular in the late 1990s - early 2000s. It is a tough game to win, but when you do, wow, what a rush. For a game with so few pieces, it really has a lot of replay value. I actually completed the design for the newer edition first because I hadn't realized I had a copy of this older edition of the game.
It was actually kind of fun to see how the game evolved from mostly wooden and cardboard pieces to more plastic pieces. The size of the tokens played a big factor in my design as I had to adjust to accomodate the larger wooden pieces.
For the Cards model, I added a slot for the discarded cards. The board itself has a place for discarded cards, but whenever we play, it always gets a little messy so I thought this would be a nice feature.
*Inventory:*
Filament estimates are based on a 15% Gyroid infill and a brim for the wide models:

- Pandemic (Orig) - Tray - Tokens: 57.85 * 1 = 57.85
- Pandemic (Orig) - Tray - Virus: 20.89 * 4 = 83.56
Total Materials: 320.43
