Requires a 0.2mm nozzle. Make sure you clean your build plate before the prints, these tiny things are going to be especially susceptible to adhesion issues because they're so small! No AMS required if you're okay doing manual color changes (0-3 per plate).

Designer's Description

Colored token capsules for all hero tokens, hero markers, life counters, wave counters, and the tie breaker coin.
Boost Me If you like my work, a free boost is the best way to support me!

Features
  • No AMS required!
  • Light, but provide great protection
  • Hero capsules are color-coded to each hero, making it obvious which tokens/markers belong to whom
  • Life counters are black on one side, making it more obvious which tokens are flipped
  • Wave counters are bulky with super nice heft to them (trust me, it’s worth the extra filament)
  • Wave counters are solid black on one side, allowing first edition owners to track waves by flipping the tokens (the first edition tokens were identical on both sides)
  • Tie breaker capsule is blue on one side and orange on the other
  • All capsules snap together easily and hold together well, but are removable, no glue needed
Printing

These are tiny capsules, so a 0.2mm nozzle is required. Most walls are 0.6mm thick so a 0.4mm nozzle won’t work.

Additionally, be sure to use a clean build plate; these are small enough that they’ll be especially prone to coming off mid-print if your build plate is dirty. Not a huge deal if they do—they use an absolutely tiny amount of filament—but might as well avoid it if you can.

The 3mf file has all necessary tokens broken down by expansion, with recommended unique colors assigned to each in generic PLA, except for Snorri, who uses Silk PLA (gives a nice silver effect). Of course, feel free to use whatever colors you want or have on-hand. Prints are done in order of color and, if you don’t have an AMS, only require a manual change in between each set.

The only exception is the tie breaker coin, which does have one piece that requires a color change partway through, but again that’s doable without an AMS.

The wave counters are by far the most filament-heavy pieces, because they're intended to be printed at 100% infill. They have a satisfying amount of heft to them if they are. I highly recommend it, it’s worth the extra filament (we’re still talking about 20g total for them).

The capsules have top and bottom pieces, for most it won’t matter which way you orient them, just put the token in the bottom piece and snap a top piece over it.
