Codenames Insert with Sliding Lids – Partial Track

A sliding-lid remix that keeps Codenames cards organized during transport and vertical storage. Includes optimized print profiles for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 mini.

Keep your Codenames cards organized during transport or when storing the game box vertically.

This remix adds sliding lids to the two removable card trays from the original Codenames game insert. The lids prevent cards from escaping their compartments, mixing together, or moving around inside the box.

The lids use partial raised tracks positioned only over the flat portions of the tray walls, preserving the finger-access cutouts.

The lid slides through raised track sections positioned only over the flat portions of the tray walls.

The partial raised-track design provides reliable lid retention while remaining tolerant of normal dimensional variation between printers.

Print profiles are provided for:

• Bambu Lab A1 with a 0.4 mm nozzle
• Bambu Lab A1 mini with a 0.4 mm nozzle

The A1 project fits all four parts on one build plate. The A1 mini project uses two build plates.

The timer/hourglass insert is not included because it was not modified.

• No supports are enabled in the supplied profiles.
• All supplied profiles slice without warnings.
• It is recommended to print one tray and its matching lid first to confirm the sliding tolerance before printing the complete set.
• Do not force a tight lid into the track.
• Intended for unsleeved cards. Compatibility with sleeved cards has not been tested.
• Verify compatibility with your edition of Codenames before printing the complete set.
