Designer's Description

This is an insert for the boardgame Agemonia.

I made the mistake of ordering the original sleeves. Those sleeves were quite premium…. indeed they were too premium to fit in their original (and nice) insert...

Since I liked the original insert and wanted to be able to keep it I had to design my own insert to store all cards in the two trays that the box had.
After many hours, and multiple possible setups, I found one that fits my needs (it double as insert and as cards table-organizer).
Now I'm sharing it with you all.

Edit: A new version was uploaded (now is the recommended one) with the playing cards insert with the holding knot embedded: SinglePiece model.

There are THREE variations of the project (and two versions of each: mono-color and bi-color):

  • The original version:

Where the “playing cards insert” is just one single piece.

  • The “OverEngineer” version:

Which was actually an experiment for myself. But, since it came up nicely, I'm sharing it with you too.
Nevertheless you should be aware of your printer tolerances (this was designed for a printer with a measured tolerance of around 0.06mm).
In this version I designed a simple grabbing knot to retrieve the “playing cards insert”: The files included are a pole with the grabbing end (print it laying sideways to keep the pulling strength from breaking it), the main body piece (with a hole to pass the pole through), and a bottom cap to cover the bottom hole of the main body (I did this to cover the bottom hole with the same colour filament (since I printed the pole in a different colour).

  • The “SinglePiece” version:

The evolution of the “OverEngineer” version, where the whole playing_cards piece was merged in a single piece.
Also, the injuries and Fates card trays have been deepened 4 and 8 mm each with the intention to allow leaving their deck dividers at the end of their respective decks.

Recommendations (for the “OverEngineer” version):

  • Print the pole sideways with adaptative layers and support.
  • Print the bottom cap of the PRO version with 0,12 layer height resolution (this is missing in most of the profiles)

NOTE: You can not close the cards-box lid with all the deck dividers in the insert. Please, remove the “fate” and “Initiative” deck dividers before attempting to close the lid.
Boost Me This is my first insert upload, if you like it and want to encourage me to keep designing and uploading feel free to boost me a little :)
