Japanese Hiragana Scrabble tiles (simple)

Hi there! Long time no see.

Have you ever wanted to play the board game scrabble with Hiragana tiles? Well now you can!

The version on this page contains a simpler set of Hiragana characters. This means that the total scrabble set contains 100 tiles. If you are looking for a set that contains all the different Hiragana characters go to the version with 214 tiles on this page:

As mentioned above this is the page with the 214 tiles game version. The tile scores and quantities are taken from this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrabble_letter_distributions

This page give the following letter quantities and scores:
1x 2x 3x 4x
0 [blank]
1 いうかしたてとのん
2 きくこつなにはよれ
3 ら
あけすせもりるわ
4 さそちま
5 おひふゆ
6 ほめや
8 えへみ
10 ねむろ
12 ぬ

The tile models are placed in folders sorted as [score]-[qty].
So 3-4x means tiles with score:3 and quantity 4.

So download the models and print the required amount as mentioned in the model name!

The model size is 19mmx19mm for the tile size by default

For my prints I used a 0.2mm nozzle

Material PLA+

I used a two colour format.

Layer 1-12 I used a Bone/brown colour PLA.

Layer 13-14 I used a black PLA.

I paused the printer after layer 12 and swapped the filament colour from brown to black to have the Hiragana symbols and score printed in a different colour.

If you have a multicolour printer you should be able to print the symbols in a different colour easily.
