Designer's Description

A box insert for Dune Imperium: Uprising with the Bloodlines expansion, specifically for sleeved cards . Designed to snugly fit the original game box (290 mm x 290 mm) with all components and rulebooks for the base game and expansion.

This is a remix of this excellent model reworked to accommodate sleeved cards. The description of the linked model has the full provenance of remixes that led here. The additional volume of sleeved cards led to a substantial reorganization of the insert.

This is compatible with sleeves for all cards except Conflict and Objective cards. (The risk of them sliding off and revealing conflicts ahead of time was too big to ignore)

So sleeved cards are: Imperium Deck, Prepare The Way, Spice Must Flow, Rival and House Hagal Cards, Intrigue Cards, Player Decks, De Vries Intrigues and Y'rkoon's Nav Cards.

EDIT: If you want to also sleeve Conflict and Objective cards, a user kindly remixed the setup piece here . You can print this instead of the setup object in plate #5.

Major Changes From Remix Base and Features:

  • Added dedicated trays for Intrigue Cards and Contracts , in addition to everything else. Every game element can be picked up from the box and set directly on the table in its tray, reducing setup/teardown time.
  • The entire arrangement in the box has been redone to accommodate the extra volume for sleeved cards, including re-dimensioning some components that are otherwise the same ( Tech Tray , Resource Trays and Worm + Sardaukar Mini tray).
  • Components generally not used often in multiplayer games live at the bottom-most layer so they don't impede setup and teardown. These are: Ix Contracts, Wooden Worms, Wooden Sardaukars, Rival and House Hagal Cards, Six Player Components and Cards .
  • Player Trays have been reworked. Sleeved staring deck should now fit flush. Also, now you don't need to lift any starting cards you trashed back to the tray to access your Control Markers (the flags you place on Arrakeen, Basin and Refinery if you win the corresponding conflict).
  • If you want Player Trays with a slot for inserting leader cards, plate #15 has the model for it that you can print in the requisite colors.
  • The card slit in all card trays is now angled and slightly narrower to make accidentally knocking cards off it harder.
  • Sardaukar Skills now live in the setup block, when stowed. There's a component that allows you to display four at a time next to the board while playing, which also doubles as a board spacer in storage.
  • An optional cage for Worm Minis that also doubles as a spacer for the board.
  • An optional spacer to hold the Tech Board in its place.

The arrangement is quite specific, so be sure to read the assembly guide which has detailed step-by-step instructions to assemble the box, and also a cheatsheet that I'd recommend printing and putting in the box, at least until you have the steps memorized. Enjoy!

NOTE: The print time on the profile is inflated by some optional modified parts requested in comments (which were added in additional plates), one full set of parts should take around 29.4 hours to print total. The following plates are optional:

#15 - Has player tray with a slot for leader cards.
#16 - Player tray without spaces for tokens from immortality.
#17 - Player tray without spaces for tokens from immortality and a slot for leader cards.
#18 - The contract piece with higher clearance (some users have reported a tight fit for contracts, if that's the case for you, this might help).

Enjoy!
