15% infill, gyroid. Ironing is enabled in an attempt to smooth out the interface sites between the base and the lid. I did change the order of walls to be outer/inner in an attempt to reduce the outward step as the wall thickness changes. Supports not needed, though perhaps some overhang settings could be more finely tailored to get a better filet on the base/lid bottom surface edge.

Designer's Description

I recently wanted a more robust storage option for my Hive Pocket game, so decided to design my own container for it rather than storing the pieces in a bag.

The container can store 28 tiles (14 of each) which is enough for the full Hive Pocket game + expansion critters (mosquito, ladybug, and pillbug).

I had some 6mm diameter x 3mm tall magnets lying around from a separate project, so tried to make “press fit” sized holes. Generally in my experience printing the model, the holes in the lid are a nice tight press-fit for the magnets, but a tad too loose on the box. Nothing a drop of super glue can't fix. Though if you get the orientation of the magnet wrong, it is a tricky business to fix. On the base I was able to “extract” backwards magnets by placing the box upside down on my printers bed and increasing the bed temperature until the magnets slid out.

In terms of clearance… the Hive Pocket tiles are 25mm hexagons (flat to flat) by 10mm tall. Measuring mine looked like most of the tiles were around 0.1-0.3mm smaller than that, so I designed the interior to be 76mm to ensure a tight fit, but one that could be assembled. The interior is also 40.4mm tall, so the lid is tight against the top of the tiles so they don't rattle around.

I supplied the STEP files in case tinkering is needed to tailor a fit.
