Designer's Description

When playing DorfRomantik (normal or the duel), it is impossible to predict how your map will grow. This often results in having to move your map arround, which is is not easy if there is nothing holding the landscape tiles together. These models aim to solve that problem!

There are other solution that are very similar, and they where ofcourse inspiration. I didn't feel any of them where quite there though, so these are designed a little differently in a couple of, in my opinion, significant ways.

1: the 2x3 layout makes them fit 2 up on alot of printers, making them faster to print.

2: I have designed both 1, 2, 3 and 6 pice tiles, for more flexibility to fit that last peice right at the edge of the table (and they all fit seamlessly in the box)

3: You can place a tile next to already filled tiles without the hazzle of picking the landscape pieces up first.

4: They come with a nice storage box to keep everything contained, with DorfRomantic logo for extra style points.

You will need 4 D6x3 round magnets to hold the lid on, it is not friction fit.

One full box is suitable for the normal game or Sakura, but you will need two boxes for the duel.

In the photos the box is printed with The filament by Spectrum filaments Sky blue PLA, and the tiles are printed in 3DE Premium PLA Seaweed Yellow Green which works extreamly well with the color scheme of the landscape tiles. The logo is printed in 3DE Premium PLA Silky White.

The other pieces that can be seen in the pictures are my box inserts for DorfRomantik the dual, which can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1271151-dorfromantik-the-duel-box-insert-replacements?from=search#profileId-1297931
