Do you love Dorfromantik and wish you could bring a little more of the game to life on your gaming table?
This little 3D diorama gives the flat warehouse game card a whole new look! A grassy meadow, stepped terrain and a charming red barn transform the simple game card into a miniature scene that adds a new dimension to your Dorfromantik setup.
But this little accessory is more than just decoration. The recessed space in front of the barn provides a dedicated parking spot for a landscape tile you want to set aside for later. It keeps the tile handy while adding a little extra depth and character to your gaming table.
The label is available in both German (" L a g e r h a u s" ) and English (" W a r e h o u s e" ), with dedicated print profiles for each version.
My special thanks go to 3D Home Decoration , whose lovely “ Small Farm Barn ” model forms the basis of the barn used in this project.
With the creator's kind permission, I adapted and optimized the barn for smaller-scale printing and multicolor printing. (The idea for the warehouse tile holder, the surrounding terrain and the overall design of this Dorfromantik accessory are my own.)
Please support 3D Home Decoration by checking out the original “Small Farm barn” and exploring their other models.
No AMS required! The model includes prepared print profiles for both the German and English versions.
Each color can be printed separately on its own build plate. The individual parts are then assembled after printing.
For makers with an AMS, additional multicolor profiles are available. These combine two colors on selected plates, reducing the number of separate print jobs and making the process faster and more convenient.
- Without AMS: Print the individual color plates and assemble the parts.
- With AMS: Use the dedicated multicolor profiles to print selected parts in two colors at once.
The print profiles have been carefully tuned to the specific requirements of this model. For the best possible results, I recommend sticking to the provided settings rather than using generic profiles. These include reduced print speeds for the windows and barn gate parts, as well as a single support structure underneath the barn to ensure a clean print around the magnet recesses.
- Terrain and base: Stack and glue the individual terrain layers together (noAMS only).
- Barn: All barn parts except the red barn body and the windows need to be glued together, for example with superglue.
- Windows: Just press the windows into their designated openings. Make sure they are correctly oriented before inserting them. It should hold without any glue.
- Barn and terrain: You can glue the barn permanently to the terrain base, or use the optional magnetic connection described below.
Make your warehouse easy to disassemble and store!
The terrain base and the barn are designed for a removable magnetic connection using 4 disc magnets (6 × 1 mm) in total.
There are two recesses in the raised terrain beneath the barn and two matching recesses in the underside of the red barn body. Press the magnets into their respective recesses. Depending on how tightly they fit, a small drop of superglue may be needed to secure them in place.
Important: Check the polarity before fixing the magnets to ensure that the barn and base attract each other.
This accessory is designed with practical gameplay and convenient storage in mind.
Easy Lift-Off: The parking space is deliberately sized so that the stored landscape tile protrudes slightly beyond the edge of the base plate. This makes it easy to pick up the tile again when you need it – no awkward fiddling around to get it out of a tight recess!
The magnetic connection offers another practical advantage: simply remove the barn from the terrain base after playing. Both components can then be stored neatly in the original Dorfromantik game box.
A little 3D makeover for your warehouse, a charming miniature scene on your gaming table, and a handy place to keep your next tile ready for action.
Enjoy printing and happy tiling!

There was always something missing for me with the warehouse card in Dorfromantik, so I decided to give it a little 3D upgrade! I turned the rather plain game card into a small 3D diorama, complete with a grassy meadow, stepped terrain and a charming red barn. There’s a little parking spot in front of the barn where you can temporarily place a landscape tile you want to keep aside for later. The barn can even be detached magnetically, so everything fits back into the original game box after playing. The model is available with both German (“Lagerhaus”) and English (“Warehouse”) imprint. I thought some of you might enjoy adding a little extra 3D flair to your own Dorfromantik setup! If you're interested, you can find the model (for free) on MakerWorld: Dorfromantik Warehouse (DE/EN) If you like this model, feel free to give it a thumbs-up on MakerWorld! 👍 I appreciate all the support and can't wait to hear what you think. Have fun printing and playing!
