Inserts for ROVE (by Addax)

Designer's Description

This insert is my custom take on the storage solution for Rove (Addax) . It replaces the original top black plastic tray that held dice, tokens, and other components. In its place, you’ll find a system of three stackable boxes :

  • a covered box for the dice with two sections
  • a box for ether tokens and extra items
  • a larger box that holds all tokens, shield icons, (...) and a brand‑new dial‑based enemy matrix

The highlight of this design is the dial‑based enemy matrix , which replaces the damage tokens (1/3 and 5/10) and the original matrix boards entirely. The dial system makes gameplay smoother, reduces table clutter, and feels great to use.

All boxes are designed with a lip to stack securely , preventing components from spilling during (normal) storage.

Print the dials in light-colored filament (bone-white worked perfect for us), so the numbers are easy readable.

To print you'll need about 1.2 kg of filament. Add the items to your slicer and copy the axle 48x on a build plate (3x8 x2) and the dial 96x on a different plate.
