Keep your space organized in style with HexHive — a set of hexagonal catch-all trays designed to snap together, stack up, and look great doing it.

Each tray features a curved interior bottom that gently slopes toward the center, so small items like dice, coins, screws, or board game tokens never get wedged in a corner. Grab what you need without fumbling.

Two print profiles are included:

• Standard — lightweight tray, perfect for stacking
• Magnet — embed magnets in the walls so trays click together side-by-side into a honeycomb cluster

Magnet Profile — Pausing for Magnets

The magnet print profile is set to pause at layer 100, at which point the printer will wait for you to install the magnets before continuing. Each wall holds 2 × 6×3mm round neodymium magnets , for a total of 12 magnets per tray . Polarity is critical for the snap-together behavior — magnets are installed in an alternating pattern around the hex, with 3 walls having North facing outward and the other 3 walls having South facing outward . This ensures that any two trays placed side by side will automatically attract and lock together. To make polarity alignment easy and consistent, I recommend using my Magnet Applicator Tool for 6×3mm Magnets — it keeps each magnet oriented correctly as you seat them into the wall cavities. Once all 12 are in place, resume the print and the walls will close over the magnets, locking them permanently in place.
