Designer's Description

TAK is a beautifully simple yet deeply strategic board game created by James Ernest and Patrick Rothfuss , inspired by Rothfuss’s Kingkiller Chronicle series. The goal is to build a road connecting opposite sides of the board using flat stones, while your opponent tries to do the same. Simple, right? Until they start stacking on your pieces, smashing them with capstones, and completely ruining your day. This upload contains the four essential piece types: Player 1 Tiles , Player 2 Tiles , Player 1 Capstone , and Player 2 Capstone —everything you need to play (minus the board).

You can select or deselect individual pieces in your slicer to print exactly what you need. Lost a tile? Just print one. Need five capstones for some house rule chaos? Go for it. To save yourself time and filament, don’t try to print them in two colors—it’s slower, messier, and honestly not worth the hassle. Just print the colors separately and swap them out when you change filament. No one’s judging your monochrome TAK army.

Now, of course, it would be highly unethical (wink wink) to print 30 tiles of each type and one capstone per player and just... you know... casually 3D print the entire game . I mean, who would do that? That would be outrageous. Blatant. Efficient. Budget-friendly. Resourceful. Clever. Honestly, probably illegal in at least seven kingdoms. So definitely don’t do that. Unless you do. In which case—welcome to TAK.
