Nucleum - Experiment Board Tray/Holder

Designer's Description

This is a multi-part tray for reinforcing the very fragile Experiment boards in the boardgame: Nucleum. The tokens should slide in and out freely in the gaps beneath the Experiment board.

Requires a minimum 240mm print bed.

When printing the retainer .stl's, see the description in the Print Settings section below.

Note, this is essentially a permanent "upgrade" to the cardboard tiles, as you need to glue the retaining clamps on.

Instructions -
1) Glue ExperimentTray_Base1.stl and ExperimentTray_Base2.stl together, being careful to wipe off any excess. It is essential that the board dries completely flat, so weigh it down whilst the glue is drying.
2) Carefully insert the cardboard Experiment Board. It is a tight fit, so be careful not to damage the cardboard.
3) Apply glue to the slots on the underside of the tray, and place the retaining straps mostly in place before sliding them in the rest of the way (you want to minimise the amount of smearing of the glue.
4) Hold all the retaining straps in place on a flat surface until dry.

I used Gorilla 2-part epoxy resin. Make sure to use a craft mat or paper so you don't damage your table top.
