Copenhagen board game insert
Print Profile 14h 38m 650 g PLA

I was annoyed at the time it took to set the game up because we had to sort the tiles into piles, so I thought I'd make an insert to make setup faster (and look nice).
Each color tile has its own box, ready to put on the table as is. The boxes are stacked with magnets to hold them together to make vertical storage possible. I made a filler, which is printed without top or bottom layers to save filament, to hold the boxes in place. If you store your game horisontally you can probably do without the filler, the magnets and the lids.
In my print profile I have made each box in the tile's color, and made the first couple of layers the color of the box it is supposed to go on top of, as the magnets aren't placed the same way on the boxes. This makes it easy to figure out the order of the boxes when stacking them. If you're not using magnets, just erase the painting in the profile :-)
To get the tiles out of the boxes just press down at either end of the tile and it should pop up, as they rest on small pyramids.
I use Ø6x2 round magnets to hold the boxes together and Ø4x2 for the lids. Initially I used Ø4x2 for it all, but they wasn't strong enough to hold the stack of boxes together when lifting them out of the filler.
