Optional multicolor profile The designer also offers a multicolor way to print this (an MMU/AMS profile or per-color parts)

About the print profile: • Tested for PLA on P1S 0.4 nozzle and 0.08mm layer height. • prepared for optional multi color print for AMS. • Color print takes a long time and many filament changes but is relatively efficient because there are so many pieces. • No support needed. • There are 40 Tokens on each plate (10 more than in the game) just to have some backup and increase printing efficiency. Update 19.02.2025: Minor Updates in V1.1: • Slightly increased height of positive terminal on battery tokens • Added ironing to the top surface of battery tokens • Increased number of tokens on each plate to 40 since they all still fit nicely into insert

I love these tokens, but the original print time was just too long! Instead of waiting, I invested that saved time into designing this Eco Profile , which significantly reduces print time while maintaining high quality. Key optimizations: ✅ Improved Battery Tokesn - Raised button top with smooth surface. ✅ Variable layer height – Achieves similar quality in a fraction of the time. ✅ Flush fit into the insert – Minimizes filament waste ( less poop! ). ✅ Simplified credit token details – Allows vertical printing for even greater efficiency. Let me know if you’d like any tweaks! 😊

I wasn't happy with the print quality of the original, so I completely remodeled the boxes so they print better now. I also didn't like the reversed credit sign on one side, so I reversed it as well. To make them fit better with the energy tokens, I printed them at 125% with 100% infill, so they are not as light and feel more pleasant to play with.

Designer's Description

These are upgrade tokens for the Boardgame SETI from CGE.

I wanted to have something more tactile and 3 dimensional to replace the cardboard tokens.

Can be printed in multicolor as in the pictures or in one color (possibly for painting).

Happy gaming!

Boost Me If you enjoy my designs, you can support my work with a boost! Thank you!

About the design:

  • Energy is represented as batteries
  • Credits are represented as high tech boxes
  • All tokens fit into the insert I made available ( Link )
  • Colored parts are clearly delineated in the model so it could also be easily painted.

About the print profile:

  • Tested for PLA on P1S 0.4 nozzle and 0.08mm layer height.
  • prepared for optional multi color print for AMS.
  • Color print takes a long time and many filament changes but is relatively efficient because there are so many pieces.
  • No support needed.
  • There are 40 Tokens on each plate (10 more than in the game). They all fit in the insert comfortably.

Bugfix 16.01.2025: I originally had colored stripes in the credit tokens model but they did not turn out great in testing. So I removed them and then accidentally uploaded the wrong file with the stripes still colored. This should be corrected now.

Bugfix 17.01.2025: I reversed the credit symbol on one side of the tokens so that the two sides are mirrored (like in the pictures). This way it is possible to have the symbol in the correct orientation no matter how you want to place the token on the table.

Update 19.02.2025: Minor Updates in V1.1 (thanks to babodad for the tips):

  • Slightly increased height of positive terminal on battery tokens
  • Added ironing to the top surface of battery tokens
  • Increased number of tokens on each plate to 40 since they all still fit nicely into insert
