I accented the original game walls and castle with a second color (and switched to print with my H2D). Added a plate with an additional Gate wall. Otherwise no changes were made to the original profile. I test printed my changes but with with two sets at once. I did make one consistency fix after my print.

Designer's Description

I previously printed TomHeadley's Castle Panic “Replacement Parts” and “Wizard's Tower” models and really liked the new look they offered to this game. (As you can see from my pictures, I liked the Wizard's Tower print so much that I added some color to it to really make it stand out). But, in addition to the Wizard's Tower expansion, I also own the Engines of War expansion, and I wanted to make a 3D-printed castle keep as a replacement for the original (and flimsy) castle keep made out of card stock. I then realized that if I wanted to create a castle keep to place on top and in the middle of the castle towers, I would also I need a sturdy base that would allow for the castle towers to all sit on top of it.

I created the castle base you see here (the green circular print with six wedges) for the castle towers and keep. This game piece still gives players enough clearance to use TomHeadley's castle walls on their game board. I also created the castle keep with a short tab protruding from the top that can hold the Ballista and catapult in place during the game (see pictures for details). All the pieces you see here sit perfectly level on the game board. The towers and castle keep also fit nicely on the base. The base also makes the entire castle structure look like it sits on a small hill in the middle of the board.) Credit to TomHeadley for designing the tower and the wall pieces (please boost and/or like the original models if you also like my additions).

Best of luck defending the castle!
