I wanted to upgrade without steering too much away from Roots aesthetics so inspired by the landmark meeples I designed a new keep for the Marquise de Cat.

For those who want a castle/keep that fits with the aesthetic of the cats meeples, someone suggested using the Castles of Mad King Ludwig first player marker... and then Pedro Fanti made a 3d print version (with inset parts to paint to match the look of the silk-screened meeples.
