Modular Leafy Trees with Magnetic Bases – Scenic Clumps & Lines

Designer's Description

# Modular Leafy Trees with Magnetic Bases – Scenic Clumps & Lines

This versatile set of leafy trees is perfect for adding immersive, thematic terrain to your tabletop games. Designed with modularity in mind, the kit includes a variety of scenic bases that support from 1 to 7 trees, arranged in clustered or linear formations—ideal for 28–32mm scale wargames like Warhammer or Historicals.

The large trees are about 110mm high, the small trees are about 70mm high, and the attached bases on the trees are 35mm in diameter.

---

Included in this pack:

STL files for multiple sizes of leafy tree models (print as many as needed) - Available in two sizes with two "levels of detail", one version with a single trunk up to the canopy, and another with a trunk that splits halfway up into big branches before hitting the canopy.

STL files for magnetic bases, in a mix of natural clumps and tactical lines for varied battlefield layouts, from 1 to 7 trees per base.

Built-in recesses for 8×2 mm magnets (in both tree and base), both for easy storage, but also to be "knock-over" robust.

---

Print a mix of small and large trees - all the small trees fit by themselves on the bases, with the large trees, use alternating small and large trees on the bases to make them physically fit - See attached renders for examples.

---

These trees are designed to blend seamlessly into forested battlefields, rocky outcrops, or alien terrain settings. Whether you're building dense cover, line-of-sight blockers, or atmospheric scatter terrain, this kit offers flexibility and visual impact.

- Supplied is supported models made for FDM print - supported by Resin slicer, but with fat supports so its possible to print with FDM
- The bracing supports (and the amount) is to make sure that the print will be a success even if the print-head knocks over the support pillars while printing
- Scaled for 28–32 mm miniatures

My conifer trees fit alongside these leafy trees - mix and match on the bases: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/modular-conifer-trees-with-magnetic-bases-scenic-clumps-lines

---

To get a detailed "ground-like" texture on the bases, optionally activate Fuzzy-skin (Contour) in the slicer, or apply some texture basing paste after printing the bases.

.edit 2025-07-12: The supported files wasn't great when printed, used quite a lot of filament, and time, so I have updated all the supported files, to be more time and material efficient - the old supported models are still available in the zip (in an OLD folder)
