Gaslands is a tabletop game of post-apocalyptic vehicular mayhem. With fast and cinematic rules, it is designed to be played with toy cars, allowing players to ram, skid and race their way through the wreckage of a burnt-out Earth.
The game is published as a small easy to read book, and with rules on how to move your vehicles around via Templates (included in the book as paper templates, download my 3d Printable ones here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2922073)
Following up on my Dice and Tokens models, I decided to make some "thematic" versions of the dice needed to play this game. Bullets!
These are printed standing on end, with 100% infill to ensure equal amounts of plastic throughout to make it balanced. The edges are sharp to help prevent any bias from showing by "free-rolling" until it settles.
I made sure the letters on the Skid dice were large enough to be filled in with a Ultra Fine tip pen such as a sharpie. I would recommend a quick coat of primer on the model before inking to prevent the ink from bleeding into the layer lines of the print.
To print the dice I highly recommend the following settings for the best balance and fairness.
layer: .16 mm
Infill: 100%
Raft: yes
Shells: .08
Top and bottom Layers: .08
UPDATE: Included a French version of the Skid and Combat Dice with assistance from Pierre on how to abbreviate the words to fit better. In practice the whole word was too long, so I took his suggestions and made a new Skid dice. Included is also a holder for the slightly longer dice.
