Expandable Playing Card Holder for Kids

We all know the problem: small hands can only hold a few playing cards, and young children who are not yet experienced at holding cards can quickly become frustrated and lose interest in card games. To help with that, I designed this sturdy and practical card holder.

The holder is built from expandable 35° segments, allowing you to increase its capacity as needed. The curved design provides a good overview of the cards while keeping them securely in place.

A strong focus was placed on durability. Children's toys and accessories often need to withstand rough handling, so this card holder features reinforced walls and a robust design that is difficult to break during normal use. Because of this, the model requires approximately 100 g of filament, but the result is a very solid and long lasting card holder.

The stable base prevents tipping and comfortably supports up to 15 playing cards while keeping them visible and easy to access.
Perfect for children learning card games, family game nights, or anyone who finds holding a large hand of cards uncomfortable.
I designed this card holder to help young players focus on the game rather than struggling to hold their cards.

Printing Tips
If you are printing on an Ender 3, don't be surprised if the larger part initially appears too large for the build plate. Simply rotate the model by about 45° and manually set the X and Y coordinates to 0 in your slicer. With this arrangement, the model fits on the print bed. Additional support settings are not required, they'r included in the STL file
