What changed: I shrunk the original model down quite a bit and modified the base to match the base used for the Outlive dial layer boards in the Collector's Edition. I also reinforced the legs and neck, so that they are much less likely to break with regular handling. The test tube is shrunk so much that it is unrecognizable and sometimes even breaks when the supports are removed, but it is there...

Designer's Description

The Underwater expansion for the Outlive board game was only ever released in retail and does not come with components that match what was designed for the Collector's Edition.

Due to this a few people have made models of the robot unit that is added to the main board, including my remix here:

however, I was unable to find a scientist model to replace the cardboard scientist that could be used along with the other survivors on each players base board, so I made this one.

You will normally want 24 of these to replace the cardboard ones that come in the expansion box.
