ShapePlay – Inclusive Dominoes

This is a complete set of tactile dominoes designed to be inclusive for children (and adults) with visual impairments or additional needs. Instead of traditional pips, each tile uses a unique raised shape that can be recognised by touch. Each shape can also be assigned a unique colour, making the set useful in more than one way:

• Shape play – recognise, sort, and match the raised shapes
• Colour play – match by contrasting filament colours
• Touch play – feel and identify shapes without relying on sight

This flexibility means the dominoes can be adapted to the needs of different players, whether for visual learning, sensory exploration, or inclusive family play.

• 6 distinct shapes : Triangle, Circle, Square, Star, Wavy, Spiral
• 21 tiles in a full set (all combinations, including doubles)
• Tactile design – raised shapes and a border around each half for clear separation
• Multi-colour ready – each shape can be printed in a different filament colour for high contrast – AMS ready
• Flat, easy-print geometry – designed for FDM printing with no supports

• Works best with AMS for coloured shapes, but can also be printed single-colour, or two-colour with a pause and filament change.
• A prime/wipe tower is recommended for clean colour swaps.
• Scale can be adjusted to suit your needs.
