Designer's Description
Stormlight Archive Opinionated Polyhedral Dice Box & Tray
by Serge Lobatch

@slobatch, @this_guy_prints

This project is a remix of Opinionated D&D Dice Box & Tray by Nick Johnson (MakerWorld) , re-drafted from the ground up with the original project serving to provide heavy inspiration and provide a reference for many of the measurements. Improvements and changes include:

  • Updated magnet holes to properly fit round 6x2 (6mm x 1.7mm) magnets.
  • (The Shapr3D file included in the project has variables for the diameter and depth of the magnet holes, so they can be easily changed without impacting the rest of the design.)
  • Evenly distributed hinges, and centered thumb-groove.
  • Regularize inner lip—now an even 3.5mm around the entire perimeter.
  • Slightly tigher tolerances between the lip and the top lid.
  • Template/stencil for upholstering the rolling tray with adhesive-backed felt, leatherette, or cork has been redrafted accordingly as well.

To celebrate the launch of the Stormlight Archives volume of the Cosmere RPG by Brandon Sanderson and Brotherwise Games, it features the "Space Era" Stormlight Archive logo on the lid and the glyphs of the first ideal of the Knights Radiant on the bottom of the box.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
