What changed: Note, the photos show my makes of the files “just tiles.3mf” and “tiles and cards.3mf”. 1 - NO TEXT: My printer had issues printing the original model's smaller text. This is why I opted to remove all text from the model. You can easily add text back in Prusa Slicer, which is what I did, but only for those texts that use a bigger font. The rest of the text I added via sticky labels. 2 - MORE SPACE FOR CARDS: Secondly, I increased the size of the card wells for the Splinter Location Cards and Ability Cards, because my sleeves did not fit into the original card wells. • Splinter Location Card well: This is wider and longer, fitting more sleeve sizes. • Ability Card well: This is wider, longer, and (optionally) taller, allowing for more sleeve sizes and preventing cards from slipping out when the box is moved. 3 - OPTIONAL HANDLE: Thirdly, you will find alternative versions of the “tiles and cards” models, which add a handle that lets you easily pull out this part of the insert.

Print "just tiles.3mf" and one of the 4 versions of the "tiles and cards" 3mf files. To choose one, see the file descriptions as well as the section "Differences of the remix compared to the original".

I printed this with

  • a Prusa Mini+
  • 10% gyroid infill
  • no brim
  • 0.6 mm nozzle
  • 0.2 m layer height (SPEED setting)

The tolerances came out a little tight, but the insert still works without scratching any tiles. Might sand down some corners later on, but it's functional as it is. You might get even better results with a smaller nozzle.

There shouldn't be any box lift either. Even the "taller card well" version is still not as tall as the tiles sticking out from their designated spaces, so the rulebook mostly lays on top of the tiles.
