Blood Rage Complete Kickstarter Insert This insert was designed around one goal: make a complete Blood Rage collection as easy as possible to get to the table. I own the original Blood Rage Kickstarter, the second Kickstarter release, and the thicker Game Night player boards. I wanted to keep everything, but I also didn’t want a huge collection that was frustrating to sort through every time we played. This insert is the result. It was a true labor of love, designed to fit the entire collection inside the two Kickstarter boxes while keeping setup, component access, cleanup, and storage as simple as possible. Designed for Fast Setup A big part of this design is making as many containers as possible table-ready. The Age 1, 2, and 3 decks each have their own removable card holder and accommodate sleeved cards. The Ruins, Ragnarok Tiles, First Player Tokens, Doom/Saga Tokens, and God Cards also have dedicated labeled trays or boxes that can go directly from the game box to the table. Each clan has its own miniature box plus a separate small box for that clan’s player pieces. At setup, each player can simply grab their clan box of minis and their matching player-component box and they are essentially ready to play. Each faction’s Mystic card has its own slot inside the clan miniature box, keeping that content with the faction it belongs to. The smaller monsters are also divided into their own dedicated storage spaces so they stay organized and easy to find instead of being dumped together in a large tray. The goal throughout the design was simple: less sorting, less digging, and more playing. Original and Second Kickstarter Reskins The second Kickstarter included alternate sculpts/reskins of several monsters from the original Kickstarter. Because these versions serve the same gameplay function, I didn’t want both cards permanently mixed into the draft decks. Instead, the insert includes dedicated slots for the unused versions so you can decide before each game which version you want to use: Age 1: Mountain Giant / Mountain Giantess Age 1: Fenrir / Garm Age 2: Wolfman / Wolfwoman Age 3: Mystic Troll / Seer Troll This lets you keep both versions in the collection without cluttering the Age decks with duplicate-function cards. Gods Storage I also wanted to keep both versions of the Gods. The insert includes separate storage for the original God miniatures and the larger gold God miniatures from the second Kickstarter. The God cards have their own dedicated storage and fit over the God miniature area, keeping everything for that module together and easy to pull out when you want to use it. Dedicated Component Storage The insert includes dedicated storage for: Age 1, Age 2, and Age 3 sleeved cards Clan miniatures Clan player pieces Clan Mystic cards Smaller monsters Original Gods Gold second-Kickstarter Gods God Cards Ruins First Player Tokens Doom Tokens Saga Tokens Ragnarok Tiles Alternate/reskin monster cards All lidded containers are clearly labeled, and the lids are designed to snap on and off easily while keeping components secure. I chose to paint the raised labels on my copy to make everything even easier to identify at a glance. This is completely optional, but I really like how much it helps during setup and cleanup. Sleeved Cards, Game Night Boards, and Vertical Storage The insert accommodates sleeved cards and also fits the thicker Game Night player boards. The complete collection fits inside the two Kickstarter boxes, and the insert also supports vertical storage, so the boxes can go back on the shelf without the contents immediately turning into chaos. Why I Made It This insert isn’t just about fitting as much Blood Rage content as possible into two boxes. It is about fitting everything into those boxes without sacrificing organization or ease of setup. If you have collected Blood Rage over the years and, like me, don’t want to leave any of it behind, this insert gives the complete collection an organized home while making it much easier to actually pull the game off the shelf and get it to the table.
