Spectral Organiser
A board game organiser for Spectral by Ryan Courtney.
-Digital files for 3D-printing-
Spectral is a small box game, but has a lot of tiny pieces that was begging for a neat solution.
We have made this organiser so you it can be printed in one colour (all text embossed) or multi-colour (by simply selecting a colour at layer heights, seen in pictures)
This organiser is minimalist, and uses minimal filament.
On a standard print profile it should only take 230g of filament and take 5.5 hours (2 plates).
The book tray has a hump that the books will curve over, as it's always tricky to store ring binded books and this has five. This solution makes the top book sit flat. The added bonus was that we could use that space to store the cards and pencils!
The books being spiral bound instead of spined, means it shouln't have a huge impact on the integrity long term.
We did design it with the intention of being 1 for 1 with the books, but found it works better if you do 3 in one direction, then the other 2 opposite, this way the binders overlap a bit.
A .3mf file for bambulab is included ready to go for multi-colour (how we did it anyway)
