Ark Nova Player Board Overlay – Robust & Easy Insert
This is a redesigned player board holder/overlay for Ark Nova (Archa Nova). While there are other overlays available, I found many of them lacked stability or made swapping the zoo maps difficult.
My design features a reinforced frame and a tighter, more secure structure. The main improvement is the "sandwich" design: the top frame is glued to the base, creating a sturdy slot. This allows you to slide the original cardboard zoo maps in and out smoothly while keeping them perfectly flat and secure during gameplay.

Assembly Instructions
This print consists of two main parts (the base and the top frame).
- Print both parts.
- Apply a small amount of superglue (CA glue) to the contact points of the frame.
- Press the frame onto the base board and let it dry.
- Once cured, your player board is ready for action!

Archa Nova - Frame and Binder for Gamer Board
This is an improved holder (overlay) for player boards for the game Archa Nova. Although there are more variants, I focused on a stronger construction and comfort of use for this model.
The design is designed so that paper zoo maps are easy to insert and unload, but at the same time hold firmly in the frame and do not slip. The whole system is more robust than conventional solutions and ensures that components do not spill during the game.

- Print both parts.
- Apply instant glue to the contact surfaces of the frame.
- Glue the frame to the base plate.
- Once dry, the board is ready – just slide in the zoo map.

Archa Nova - Rámeček a pořadač pro desku hráče
Jedná se o vylepšený držák (overlay) pro desky hráčů do hry Archa Nova . Ačkoliv existuje více variant, u tohoto modelu jsem se zaměřil na pevnější konstrukci a pohodlnost používání.
Design je navržen tak, aby se papírové mapy zoologických zahrad daly snadno vkládat a vyndávat , ale zároveň v rámečku pevně držely a neklouzaly. Celý systém je robustnější než běžná řešení a zajišťuje, že se vám komponenty během hry nerozsypou.
Hlavní vlastnosti:
- Zesílené propojení: Konstrukce je tuhá a na stole se nekroutí.
- Pohodlná výměna map: Díky přesnému rámečku můžete jednotlivé mapy zoo měnit během vteřiny, aniž by se zasekávaly.
- Pevná fixace: Vše drží hezky pohromadě.
Pokyny k sestavení
Model se skládá z desky a horního rámečku, které tvoří "kapsu" pro herní plán.
- Vytiskněte oba díly.
- Na styčné plochy rámečku naneste sekundové lepidlo .
- Přilepte rámeček k podkladové desce.
- Po zaschnutí je board připraven – stačí zasunout mapu zoo.
