Designer's Description
The Nova Roma box is way bigger than it needs to be, and I'm pretty sure the end of the Roman Empire was a result of too many little baggies.
Features:
- Keep the cardboard insert to take up volume without filament.
- Player boxes to hand out.
- Artisans and money (and Legionnaire) boxes for placing on the table.
- Card boxes double as trays for keeping the stacks organized on the table.
- Sleeved cards should fit (untested).
- Everything either has a cover (and the player boxes lock), or fits tightly enough that it is vertical-storage/transport compatible.
- Minimal use of "fill space" with filament.
The Building and Shipping Contract ("mini") card boxes are stacked, so rather than needing two lids and the boxes rattling around on top of each other, the boxes slide onto each other and use a single cover.
There is so much room in the box, that you will need to put about 10mm of foamcore or cardboard (maybe the leftover punchout boards?) underneath everything to push the board and rule book to the top of the box preventing things from shifting.
