Tiny Epic Dungeons Adventures Insert
An insert designed to hold all the contents of the deluxe base game, Phantom Voyages, and the upgraded boss meeples in the original boxes.
The Phantom voyages box holds the envelopes for the expansion, dice, overflow tokens, hero mats, and the heroes. The rest of the components fit in the base game box.
I have uploaded my final version of this model. However, I have left all the work in process (WIP) models in the folder labeled "Historical (work in process models)".
This is quite a tight fit and I really had to make the walls thin and move around pieces to get it all to fit. See the attached pictures for how to stack the trays and their contents.
Eventually, I am going to design a full box to store all the Tiny Epic Dungeons system content in one big box. Please be on the lookout for that.
Until then, please print and enjoy this insert for the original boxes. Feel free to use the included FreeCad file as a jumping off point for a remix. Please post your makes and feedback. Thanks!
I printed this in PETG with a layer height of 0.20mm with a 10% infill (Gyroid). A couple of trays are a single 0.4mm perimeter wall thick when using a 0.4mm nozzle. Please utilize the "detect thin walls" setting in your slicer.
The tray layout is as follows:
Tier 0:
- Upgraded boss meeple tray Or full token tray.
- Miscellaneous token tray | player health, mob health, stamina, spawn, fire, and ritual tokens.
- [Loose] | Disarm tokens.
- [Loose] | Square cards in two stacks. One stack is: rooms, minions, explore cards, entrance/exit, player pack. Second stack is all loot and spells.
Tier 1:
- Tall square tray | Most of the minion tokens, stacks on top of pile with rooms.
Tier 2:
- Long tray | Mob tokens, four spirit tokens (Phantom Voyage).
- Short tray | Spirit tokens (Phantom voyage), passageway tokens.
- [Loose] Chest of continuation.
- [Loose] Chapter envelopes.
Tier 3:
- Rectangular tray | Rest of the Phantom voyage tokens.
- [Loose] Adventure envelopes.
Tier 4:
- Map booklet.
- short square tray | Relic tokens, six passageway tokens, and the player color rings. (Could probably be expanded to hold the last passageway tokens).
Tier 5:
- Adventure manuals and rule books.
The tray layout is as follows:
Tier 0:
- [Loose] Adventure envelopes.
- [Loose] Chapter envelopes.
- [Loose] Dice on right side.
- [Loose] Miscellaneous overflow tokens (if required).
- Hero mats with the hero mat fence. This was designed with no sleeves for the hero mats. If utilizing sleeves please update the dimensions in the included cad file.
Tier 1:
- Hero tray (Available) Or Fitted hero tray ( Design in progress).
I used the following sleeves for the cards in this game:
Square Sleeves: Arcane Tinman (70mm x 70mm)
Large Sleeves: Pending (89mm x 127mm)
I made this mostly parametric in FreeCAD for ease of use and modification.
